Sarcastic? Me? No~

Salam, yeap I celebrate with no cake

Last week was my birthday and like every year, my mom said "you old enough already, why don't you learn to cook?", my dad forget about it, my brothers are still an ass...what's more? I have no friends to celebrate with...sad, true story!

Anyway....I went to Excapade with my brothers the next day and settled down some unfinished COP process. As we went back my brother ask me to buy my own cake for me and dad who had interview that day.

In the end my brother suggested these and my father just laugh it out

Thank you

Salam...I love my dad

Cut the story short, my dad accidentally dropped my camera and broke its lens. Thankfully Brunei Canon HQ have the component and they could replace it within a week rather than to wait a whole month to send it to Singapore like what happen to my brother's camera.

They gave me back the broken lens and I will keep it as a memory XD

It cost my dad $250, he said if the cost higher than $300, he would buy a new one for me...either way is okay I guess.

New Brunei Trend?

Salam, like you never come here before~

Recently, I found out that there's plenty of weeding spree going on around the country, there's also some new trend started to take on. Usually, when guest graces the wedding ceremony, the host will gave them gift as token of appreciation for their time to attend the wedding. The gift could be glass bowl, snacks for kids, drinking glasses or any kitchen stuff. Yesterday, my dad received a pack of rice from a wedding he attended, it was pack neatly and it didn't weight much but it sure could feed a person for 3 days.

From May till end of June is the best period for farmers to gather the crops especially rice. The pack of rice as a gift is probably the best stuff anyone would love to receive from wedding's host since any glass bowl or display are pretty useless and we Bruneian are bunch of hoarders, with more gifts from the ceremony are really eating up spaces.
